I am a parent. My kid has teachers. I would very much disagree that “Police Lives Matter” is a retort to “Black Lives Matter”. They are not mutually exclusive and personally see nothing wrong with advertising both ideas. Just because the racist uncle uses the expression to espouse his racism, doesn't make it so for everyone else.
