If yer only ever going to pull loads of 1000 pounds or so than an F150 is perfect.

My brother lives in South Dakota, he has friends that have ranches in the thousands of acres that use this kinda truck every day. Going to pull a stock trailer or large horse trailer with the Mercedes truck? Nope. Never. Will it pull 2-3 trailers full of hay? Nope. They may be ranchers but they still want a nice…
Hostile by owning a truck? What? I have my Suburban because it can do things my A6 wagon can’t. To be hostile?!? That’s some fucked up thinking.
Do you think folks are cross shopping this with luxury cars?
The leather in my Suburban is holding up very well to my grime and the three humongous dogs that abuse it. Easy to clean and strong, why would I swap to vinyl?
I still see quite a few Excursions out on the roads and only the gassers got that kinda mileage, the 7.3 and later 6.0 get high teens average. I’m thinking of selling my 2009 Suburban to get into a 2004/05 6.0 diesel Excursion. My Burb gets 14mpg period but I didn’t buy it thinking it was a Honda Civic.
Would be a fun lowrider.
All of the ranchers in Wyoming, Texas, Colorado, Montana, California, etc can use these. It’s a rolling office when yer ranch is measured in square miles.
Even if it was a load an F150 could pull a 250/350 will pull that load much more composed and parking a 4 door 6.5' bed 150 is the same as a 4 door 6.5' bed 250/350. The 250/350's have a diesel that can get better fuel economy and has the torque to pull a house down.
So, going by quite a few of the comments I read below, if one does well in life, gets a good job and is making some good money an S Class Merc, 760iL BMW, or other high end car is a fine spend of money but if you own a big fucking ranch, farm, construction company or just make really good money and have a big 5th…
These cars are for folks who want to look sporty on a ramen budget, they aren’t usually worried about the actual performance because they have kids or don’t make a lot of money.
I have a 2010 A6 wagon and love, love, love it and I’d love to shop a newer one in two or three years but I guess I’ll be going to the Mercedes dealer for our next one. I don’t get why folks hate wagons but love shitty fucking crossovers(lifted wagons).
Holy LS swap candidate Batman! The 600 could represent the horsepower figure.
Every diesel pickup is dual battery for starting amps but I’m guessing cost and more importantly packaging is why it’s not on any other vehicles.
It’s charged by a 572 big block Chevy spinning 6,000 rpm on a generator. Simple and efficient.
My FIL is in a nursing home in that exact age range and quite a few others are in there as well. They may have had terminal illness, we don’t know. If I’m suffering from some kinda shit when I’m older, I think I want a fast way out rather than linger in pain until I fade out. Fuck that. It sucks watching someone…
I’ll take one, lever on some Cooper STT Pro tires so I can get it into the middle of nowhere and camp out of it. Why not? Big ass grill and all.
What’d you call me?!?
I told him to not put the BBQ in there but nooooooooooooooo it has to be there cuz it’s funny.
Keep it simple, don’t overload the balljoints, I kept my cv axles at a shallow angle, and my center of gravity isn’t sky high like a lot of tall lifted trucks running around. More wheel travel would be nice but it’s paid for and probably not going anywhere anytime soon so we may just keep building on it. With smart…
