Don't let the door splitya, princess!

Oy, you make a statement saying CT is the worst place you've ever been and can't elaborate to say "Fairfield County" so we can all agree and commiserate that Martha Stewart is your neighbor. Yeah, I really care about YOU, random anonymous person on the internet. YAWN.

Again, curious about what you know about CT that

OK, no information to back up your extreme assertions. Just curious as I lived in CT most of my adult life and it just seemed like a strange statement. Especially compared to suburban NJ & LI.

Also curious about what socialist utopia you moved from that 3 years in CT seems like such a "miserable" place of rampant materialism. I'm guessing you must be in Fairfield county. Stamford?

I want to hear about this mythical place that is worse than Long Island. You should be able to get a reality show!

What town are you in?

Lack of imagination?

You've never been to Long Island have you?

Intelligent people are usually more dissatisfied. So maybe people in these states are just smart enough to feel discontent?

Now playing

Got you! Here's a pithy video on why reverse racism isn't a thing. Some people may need to hear this 1000 times before they stop their whining, but it should eventually sink in. Or not! You can't worry about people who won't relinquish their privilege, you can only work so systematic oppression is dismantled piece by

Fair enough. But I don't get this weird panic over where to draw the line in regards to "terminal" racism. We live in a racist society. Racism is a centuries long force that degrades both the oppressed and the oppressor (in the example of Sterling, you can see how his racism has made him someone that puts him outside

You know you're worrying about the wrong things, right? Plenty of real world stuff to fret about without panicking about if billionaires are receiving justice at the hands of their fellow billionaires.

On the very same front page of the LA Times, you can read about this woman's life... http://www.latimes.com/local/la

There isn't actually anything to worry about when someone who slurs Magic Johnson is removed from a position of authority in the NBA. When the next dumbshit owner says something dumbshit we'll debate it, but 100% of non-racist America wants Sterling gone.

Racism is now seen as bad business. That's a step forward.

Hopefully it sets the precedent of "don't be racist."

It's a total strawman argument. Sterling has been a racist for his entire tenure as owner of the Clippers. Two things changed: 1) Society has less tolerance for racism 2) His recorded remarks were made public.

Any owner stupid enough to cross a line of this magnitude AGAIN is stupid enough that the league wouldn't

No he didn't. He tweeted "I agree 100% with Commissioner Silvers findings and the actions taken against Donald Sterling."

TMZ gets the assist.

Exactly. How is exposing yourself to the possibility of lifelong pain "healthful" when you have a perfectly good vaccine that can lessen that risk.

The kids probably won't be able to sue their parents for not getting them the vaccine when they get shingles later in life, but they most definitely will curse their names.

THANK YOU for explaining why the fire burning scene flashed on my screen just before the game came back. I didn't see whole ad, just a snippet.
