I started it, but I just couldn't continue more than a couple of minutes into the interpretive dance. This make watching an Apple press event easy!
It goes so much deeper than I imagined! He played us all for fools while we laughed at fat security guards, full shitters, and the slut in the shower!
Damn you Chevy Chase! In all reality, though, I'm sure he had one hell of a cocaine habit to support in '83 and took the role to keep himself in the powder. He was a drug addled pawn in the greater scheme to deprive America of the station wagon.
You think you hate it now, but just wait until you drive it...
It's tricky to wrap your head around initially. You rotate counter-clockwise and pull back for first, then flip the knob upright and shove forward for 2nd, then pull back out again for third, and then a clockwise turn and push for 4th. Reverse is counterclockwise and push. Easy, right?
Mind if I share this to Oppo? I laughed so hard!
Seriously, though, why can't American ads have this much fun?
I really want to save this car. Since it no longer has the original engine, you could realistically do any engine/trans combo you wanted and sell the Olds 350 and (probably) Turbo 400 for a little starting cash. The interior looks decent besides the Grand Canyon dash. It would be a good $2K project car. Maybe $3K if…
Awesome story! Thanks for sharing it with us!
I'm always for putting the bigger engine in the smaller car. If it were in nicer condition, I would say NP. Drop it down to around 5 kilobucks and I'd bite.
SO MUCH NOSTALGIA! I remember going to the auto show in St Louis as a kid and sitting in a KITT car. A General Lee was there too. So much 80's!
Listening to the guy in the video @1:07 that rolled his Defender, this is all I heard...
Congrats! I look forward to the future installments of Project Car Hell: 1964 Scout Edition!
I didn't even think about that... (SHUDDER)
Where at in IL? The moment I saw this, It felt like something that would exist not far from me.
To whomever this anonymous tipster is, PLEASE keep the stories coming! This might be the most amusing thing I have read all day!
