The only reason I know what they are is b/c my mother-in-law has one. Talk about a useless SUV.
Here we see the rare specimen known as the Turbo Chicken. Just be careful not to get it too wound up as it is known to detonate at full throttle!
The Maxima has only come with one engine choice for quite a while, which is the 3.5L V6 introduced to the lineup in 2002. The only transmission option has been a CVT (shudder) since 2004. Don't get me wrong, the 3.5 is a good engine (I had a 2003). I would love to see some sort of FR layout come to their flagship car,…
I had an 03 Maxima. Even with the automatic, the 3.5 V6 was pretty great. The new CVT on the other hand...
If only. Dolemite is probably dead on if it ever hit production.
Now if they would just get rid of that damned CVT...
I agree, but the likely hood of someone who traded in 2011 and 1969 Camaros wanting a Mustang is low. They sound like Chevy die-hards.
Or even another Chevy dealer with a new ZL1 for that matter. If this is the culture at this dealership/dealer group, they should be cut off at the knees and lose their franchise rights.
The 8P A3 is what sparked my recent love of wagons!
WHOOSH!
This might be a dumb question, but do any of these guys use throttle stops? Or is is just WFO? Sounds like he bounced it off the rev limiter a few times so I'm not sure.
This needs to become a reality!
Not knocking ICON, they make beautifully detailed unobtanium vehicles that I will never be able to own. My computer science OCD was kicking in again...
/rant/ According to their website, it has 1335 ft/lbs (i'm assuming because it doesn't specify) of torque. You would think a company so obsessed with details would make sure their website is equally detailed/error free. /end rant/
Love how the camera man flinches when it lights off!!!
You sometimes see this on older VWs and Audis. No, it doesn't blast George Clinton at the highest possible volume. Funk means "radio" in German, and the button is a radio kill switch for police cars and taxi cabs.
This is an awesome article. I love hearing history on how long forgotten brands influenced today's vehicles. Keep up the good work!
