I read through GideonZhi's post, and I didn't find a part that said 'rush to release the patch despite your team's objections when you find out the owner is announcing a western release in a few days'.

So as someone who produces fan translations himself, I've been finding this whole situation highly suspect. We do what we do at the good graces and tolerance of the current IP holders, and it's bad form to try to spite them, especially with a zero-day deal such as this.

Pretty stoked for the new expac. Can't wait to rush to 100 in a week, then brainlessly grind dungeons, then brainlessly grind heroics, then brainlessly grind LFR, then brainlessly grind raids, then complain that there's nothing worth doing!

I REALLY don't like Cliff Bleszinski. That being said, i kind of disagree with him on this one. I cant see disc based gaming going away soon. I can see, however, digital base distribution becoming even more popular. I never understood why these two cant coexist.
