I was a waitress at a restaurant. I was fairly new at the time of the incident described below.

One would hope. However my dear friend took her son out of school because his teacher would call him out, humiliate, and punish him for his tourette's syndrome.
- My co-worker who spelled tossed (as in tossed salad) "tost" and also spelled cucumber "Qcumber" in total seriousness.
I don't think so at all. The physical burden of the mattress is strenuous, sure. But think of how walking in with a mattress will disrupt every class she goes to. How much room it takes up in an elevator. How it will slow/block traffic on a stairwell. Hell, how many people will be made uncomfortable by asking…
It sounds like an open relationship as envisioned by a 12 year old girl.
It's a joke, lighten up Francis. Paultoes is good people.
Patrick, I think your opening line is a bit off. The jury found Barajas did NOT kill Banda. If they had found he had, he could have been convicted of anything ranging from manslaughter to the capital murder he was charged with.
Additionally, they found *fragments* of *a* bullet they think *might* be a .357 Magnum, but…
It's true, we want more than just the basics. But the way this well-meaning designer talks, it sounds like she's not aware of the plethora of hideous prints (in polyester, naturally) all over every plus size store I've ever been in.
Case in point this lovely piece.
No kidding. Every time I walk into Lane Bryant, I'm aghast at the prints and embellishment. It's not that I don't want to draw attention to myself—I just want to get attention because I look good, not because someone's glued rhinestones to everything I'm wearing.
You know, I actually really dislike Lenore Skenazy. I stopped reading her blog a couple of years ago because it was an orgy of Mommywars and judgmental a-holes and unacknowledged privilege.
FYI, the viral fundraiser I started for Debra back when her story first hit is in its last day today: http://www.youcaring.com/help-a-neighbo…
Add this to the list of reasons why you should always, always, have a lawyer with you when being interrogated by the police. It's clear she believes she did nothing wrong, and clear that she thinks just telling them the truth will get her out of there and back to her daughter, as would be the assumption with any…
Meanwhile, if she was a white cop who shot and killed an unarmed black teenager, everyone would be protecting the shit out of her identity.
This entire case is such bullshit. Debra Harrell deserves a public apology from everyone involved.
I really wish you could unpost this. I get that people are shitty and say shitty things and it's click-worthy, if not news-worthy, to report on it. However, I just wish that all the shitty responses that people posted self-righteously about suicide being the "cowards" way out didn't garner ANY attention...least of all…
Here is a summary of all his posts. Makes for much easier reading.
It galls me that we can't just say, "Nope, I'm not interested."
So you're saying we shouldn't assume that we know better than other people. But you're pretty solidly sure you know better than everyone that's disagreeing with you. How are you any different? Shit, what if it's my CULTURE to meddle? By your argument that makes it so damn sacred that you shouldn't interfere.
