As an early (like 6 months early) birthday present, my husband is sending me to Ladies Rock Camp. I am so excited because I play a little bit of guitar (badly, very, very badly) and have always wanted to play in a band (but I haven’t because, well, I suck), and this is going to be so much fun! It is even more exciting

OMG!!! That face!!! I just wanna kiss it.

Love your pup! I have been obsessing over my own feet as well. My heels were dry, cracked and gross. I used Blue Spa Heel of Approval glycolic acid lotion on my feet, along with a foot file twice a day. Within 3 days, my feet looked almost normal. Within a week, they were completely normal. There wasn’t the dramatic

Thanks! Right back atcha!

Maybe all of this Nickelback content trolling will... wait for it... build his character?

You seem oddly invested in this. Even if you think that her comments were out of place with the original topic (they weren’t, as someone started a thread about adoption), compassion would dictate that you move on without commenting. Clearly you have none.

I have sleep apnea. Unfortunately, I also have TMJ problems. So, after getting fitted for a very expensive oral appliance, I can’t use it because after about night 3, my jaw develops a stabbing pain. So, it looks like it will be a mask for me.

While on vacation visiting a friend of mine in L.A., we went out to dinner with a bunch of people, and among them was, Kristy McNichol, whom I had admired as a kid growing up. She had retired from acting and was living life as a “normal person” by that point. She was very nice, but as everyone else already knew her

I think the “I have no friends” thing was just her being flip.

There was a Federal judge in CT who advocated that, but only for certain types of cases, specifically, cases involving highly technical subject matter (like patent infringement cases, etc). I believe he was criticized pretty heavily by the legal community for making such a suggestion.

Hopefully in his closing argument, the prosecutor did the whole “the court will instruct you in detail on the law, but I will remind you that ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’ does not mean ‘beyond all doubt’...” Not that it always works, but sometimes jurors need to be reminded that if it takes imagining an outlandish

Whether you are “allowed to” or not, I am fairly certain that it does come up in discussion. How much weight it is given depends on the makeup of the jury.

Some angry, white, male Bernie-bro does what angry white males feel entitled to do and everyone is turning themselves inside out to blame the GOP, Kathy Griffin, etc.- everyone and everything except the shooter and the society that shaped his entitled mindset- when the issue here is that this appears to be another

Any answer that is met with gibberish should be credited back to the Senator’s time, and the Senator gets to keep asking until a definitive answer is given.

Yes, but he (presumably) has a penis. Apparently, that matters.

She should definitely be on the ticket as VP though. That would put her in an excellent position in 2024.

Well, I am not surprised that they fired him. In a perfect world they wouldn’t have, but CNN is trying so desperately to win The Donald’s favor, just to that they can ask him a question at a press conference, that this is not at all surprising.

Mila is gorgeous! Love the high-five!

I am a dog person, but I like other people’s cats. Wouldn’t want one for myself though. And for some weird reason, the most aloof cats tend to like me.

Yeah the adjustment period can be tough. For a while after we brought my Sophie home from shelter, if there was another woman around, she would pee on my husband’s feet. That, fortunately, did not last. She does still like to sit on our feet, which kinda grosses me out.
