I know exactly what you were saying. But if the average for past events was $200, you set the minimum for this one to $200. Guess what happens when the next event comes and you run the average of past events? It would be higher. And the time after that? Even higher. Never ending escalation.

How long is your driving career? Even states that DO have points, your insurance doesn't go up just from 1 violation. It goes up if you get too many in too short of an amount of time
