Yep. It's just longer-wavelength lasers. Of course, "just" is a bit of an understatement considering how difficult it is to get coherent beams of light at those wavelengths.

Priorities? There are currently three options: possibly kill humans while testing, possibly kill animals while testing, or don't test and never make progress. They're all shitty options. Which would you choose? Note that the first two are "possibly kill", not probably nor certainly.
