Personally, when I upgraded to a newer version of Windows (I can't remember if it was as recently as Windows 7 or if it was back in the Vista days), I realized that the newer version of Windows Media Player was much better than the old one I remembered. And I've been using Windows Media Player for everything ever

There's a huge difference between a wheel spinning to catch friction (and thus pushing any soft material behind it in the process) and a statue shimmying its way forward. Imagine walking on a soft dirt road, but without lifting your feet. Just shuffling along. You don't stay in the same place long enough to dig in

I suppose it really is the robotic equivalent of a hallucination, though it should be noted that it's a controlled hallucination. Very important.

As long as you move forward with each "step", no one spot would get deep enough for that to happen.

It's the ground. It may be torn up on the surface, but it'll still be fine to carry the statue. As for hills, it depends on if there were any between the place it was made and where it ended up. Even if there were, though it would make it harder, with enough manpower it's still not impossible.

Can the system handle all that motion?

There are a couple of reasons to write longhand. First of all, if you're taking notes on anything, it's much easier to remember what you've written than to remember what you've typed. I can't say why that is for sure, but I'll postulate it has something to do with the amount of processing you need to make the

No, but for $99, I'm sure they can pretend to be a fan. Or Princess Leia. Whatever you like.

Ah, okay. Though a chicken-cow seems like a worthy use of GMO in my opinion :) . You'd get milk and eggs in one beast!

You do not have to be a musician. Definition time!

You can see the edit history (somehow) anyway, so even with a single notification you can still see the unedited version. I think the point is not to change it to something so people don't see your first response; it's to change it to elaborate on your thoughts and/or fix mistakes.

If a Japanese video game company merged with Camel, it would be Nintendo and smokes.

I don't know. I'm not sure how useful this is:

I don't know about cold, but some Golden Ricetriever sounds good.

Is this something they teach in Monsters U? A movie I may or may not want to see, by the way.

Disclaimer: "fan" refers to the air-moving device and is not short for "fanatic". $99 is not enough to get an enthusiast into your bed.

Climate change, man. It does freaky things to weather.

Only for a limited time period after posting. Now that time restriction has been lifted, and a way to view the edit history of a post had been added.

There's no more edit time limit. Currently, you could always edit your comments if you clicked the X within a (seemingly arbitrary and somewhat short) timeframe after posting them. The main difference with this change is that there will be no more time limit and apparently a way to see the edit history of the comments.

Mmm...only if they're cooked right, though. Hot dogs = good, cold dogs = yucky.
