As a display and also to automatically adjust the pump without requiring manual input.

Another plus for me: palmblock. Though they really didn't need to give it a name, the functionality is nice, being able to write/draw without worrying about hand placement (and no need to manually switch it on/off as you switch your usage).
I think that's actually a good idea. Better cooling allows for more powerful processing (which generates heat) in a smaller form factor. And of course it'd be annoying if you had to worry about holding your tablet away from the vents all the time, so making the vent a full perimiter thing is ideal.
Weird. I haven't had a Windows bug in 10 years at least...
Ooh! I'm not much impressed with the other specs so far, but I love the idea of a cover that folds out into a keyboard/trackpad combo. Although...why multitouch? It's separate from the main screen anyway, so why not make it physical?
My five-year-old nephew hates Bieber, too, but being 5 he purposely sings "Baby" just to annoy me. If he weren't related to me (and were older) I'd smack him until he loses the ability to speak.
That's a failed analogy, as it's the complete opposite. It's like saying "sleeping is like the equivalent to being awake."
A dedicated input area below and a screen above? I don't think that would be a tablet at all, just a touch-screen laptop?
I've seen a BSOD one time in the past 10 years, and that was after I messed around with system files in...less than knowledgeable ways xD .
"Finally, the announcement is starting. Hang on to your hats, everyone, this should be interesting! And it's...Hello, World the Movie, sponsored by Microsoft."
Turns out it's all about using origami to solve mathematical problems. It's like the geometrical equivalent of...well...nope, no analogy is coming to mind.
Bullcrap. Whenever they say that, I just wait until the attendant has passed me by and then put my headphones back in. My iPod Touch with all radios turned off will never be a hazard, and I want my damn music.
I'm a little confused by one part of this article. If part of the system is an implanted continuous glucose monitor that communicates with the phone...then why does he still need ANY finger-pricks? Shouldn't he be able to just look at the phone and see his glucose levels?
$6,000? Am I missing something here? I could make one for about $150.
With the old ones, yes. When I first got my Square reader, I immediately realized that could be done. And in my habit of overcomplicating everything interesting, I came up with this nefarious process:
I have Comcast, and they currently offer 20Mbps. In actuality, my most recent test showed a practical throughput of 14Mbps down. (Keep in mind I'm testing from a laptop connected via WiFi). So it's pretty close, and if Verizon's service is as advertised, I'd expect a 250-300Mbps throughput. Which, frankly, is amazing.…
Short attention span? Check. File sharing? Check. Oh, crap, I'm in trouble... frequent E-Mail use? Phew, NO CHECK! Guess I'm not depressed, then ^_^ .
Hmm...perforated performances. Maybe...maybe...
Second paragraph: "performations" #corrections
That's right, Molly. You and me, baby, ain't nothing but mammals. Wise words from a band I once knew.
