Actually she mentioned being only 1/4 and was based on a real life person. Anyone that knows White people knows that we absofuckinglutely love mentioning and focusing on any non-American heritage we can possible find.

Also, don’t forget Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone in Aloha.

A disney-d up version of mental illness as well.

Empathy is good, but it also gets used to force people into shitty teams. There is an overwhelming us-vs.-them vibe and an utter inability to see a forest for trees, even in good causes. This woman still deserves empathy, but this entire thread is a circlejerk.

I think it’s really important to acknowledge the positive changes and encourage people to pursue more change, not just be a dick to people because we feel like we have a good excuse. There is no intelligence behind excluding people that should be persuaded instead.

God yes. I’m so happy to see this upvoted. There is a really bizarre problem where a lot of people in the social justice movement act like sanctimonious evangelical Christians, demanding penatence, refusing to listen to or communicate with others and making it more difficult to convert people to genuinely good causes.

It’s not really a “White” thing as much as it’s a special section of White people that is now furious that it’s own children have absolutely 0 respect for it.

This is one of the articles, and one of the comments, that makes Gawker truly worthwhile.

Good God, that makes me want a restomodded Tatra so badly. Those 80s models were surprisingly good looking.

You yourself said that this has a lot of potential. I’m sorry, but if this were as irrationally cheap as it’s absurd origin (Seriously? The guy couldn’t have worked around a Camaro?) would suggest, it is truly epic indeed.

Oh God I want one so badly I don’t even know what to do. Jesus H. Freedom, I wish an American company would start thinking as batshit wonderful as Mitsuoka.

Floridian here: I’m not sure if I’m glad or sad that they didn’t decide to go balls out and make it a convertible, but I feel like they either went way too Florida, or not even close to Florida enough. They need to commit to a direction and stick to it.

Molly Quinn would do well too.

Her death was pretty unforgettably memorable, it would be odd to see her survival as an option. Unless it hit PC, in which case there is no way they wouldn’t do this in a mod even if it weren’t a built in option.

I would be less impressed if you told me that you met a unicorn and it bought the first round. I don’t even think my brain could reconcile seeing that thing with my expectations of it’s rarity.

So is God.

Actually, you wouldn’t be able to fit any other Fomoco engine in there other than the v6 and the absolutely awful Jag v8.

Oh, I remember the AJ-V8 all right. I was working in a dealership when these things came out and people were horrified to see what engine they were using. Worse yet, because of the engine layout swapping a more reliable, less insanely awful engine just isn’t very easy at all.

I’ll never be impressed by gullwings again

I saw a black late 90s Lincoln Mark VIII today and I think it would have made a pretty nice one. I forgot how gorgeous these things were.
