erm indeed.
Clever that it’s been done, but result isn’t nice (or really ‘wood’).
Can’t imagine it would have been too hard to stick a lump of mahogany (or your wood of choice) through a CNC router for a much nicer effect (wood-grain for example).

Haha, when I was reading this I was like “wow, he’s really pushing this joke into the ground isn’t he”?
One reason I still prefer Gen 1 and 2 over most of the others (despite their fair share of trash designs too) is that they hadn’t become unnecessarily complicated and adorned with detail they didn’t need yet.
So, I mean, I guess this is effective in that it’s completely ruined the original designs by adding rubbish to…
The current teams writing Joker and Harley have been pretty bad, and missing the point for years: their “relationship,” such as it is, is never over. That’s where the comedy and tragedy of it ring truest. And I don’t know who that is up there, but that isn’t the Joker. He’s some half-baked caricature of an abusive…
Wow, I really didn’t think they would include her. So much for those M-rated concerns!
I’m actually at a point where my reaction to HL3 being released would be me saying “that’s nice,” and clicking next on my queue.
I wonder if more people would read EULAs if they came in a form with a plainspeak version that references the full version and what subsection to find stuff in it.
I don’t think Steam has “won” so much as just gone uncontested for so long. It has its own problems as a content delivery platform, and I think most of those are from complacency. If GOG keeps them on their toes, everyone wins.
I would move my fingers as if I were talking a deformed form of sign language to you, but you obviously wouldn’t see it. Maybe you don’t know the definition of “domain squatter”. See, that’s when guy A registers a domain and does nothing with it. Now, does it sound like this guy did that? Absolutely fucking not you…
Any new product or service, your first step should be to grab the domain names for all of 9$ a year. This one is on OR.
$58,000 IS NOT getting rich.
Rightful property? Seriously, Oculus Rift showed NO INTEREST in the domain, thats why these guys could’ve picked it up in the first place.
Here’s a thought though. Why didn’t Oculus Rift themselves register the .com domain?
This a good example of why Oculus being bought out by Facebook was bad. Only a big corporation with a big ego would treat its longtime fans and supporters like excrement.
As the article mentions, they were bought out by Facebook...so I’m honestly not shocked this is happening. And $58,000 seems like chump change for a company like Facebook.
yeah I don’t understand how these people haven’t figured out how the market works. I don’t usually buy games at launch unless it’s something that I really want because I know if I wait a few month I can get it for atleast half the price.
What’s the likelihood of gamestop giving customers a decent price for trading in one of these old games? Pretty sure Sonic 2 would get me 50 cents. Maybe.
I don’t like it, it looks a bit overdone. Overkill. They need to turn it down a notch. They have it at a level 10 and they need to bring it down to a 7, it’s way too much smoke and it makes it look very unrealistic. I like the effect if it was done right but in its current state, nah.
I’m guessing because the earliest Xbox 360 games were also the simplest, and hence easiest to work with?
out all the games to pick why would you try to emulate sonic 06.
