Or for downloading Open Source stuff in a manner that 's less demanding on servers and clients alike.

Torrents have a lot of legit uses you dingus.

Are we going to have a long debate over what theft actually means again? People use torrents for more than illegally downloading games, you know.

I'd be more worried if valve pulls an EA where steam monitors my PC and sells my info to undisclosed parties.

Because if they ignored it and it turned out to be a real hostage situation, the results could be horrendous.

what happens if its real? they have to go no matter what

But when your sucker runs on nuclear, even a fridge can go 88 mph.
Indiana Jones can testify to that!

It's not a mod, as they're not modifying the game code in any way or using a RAM editor to change memory values.

Entering information into a console is not a mod when entering data in that window is a pretty regular occurrence. If you had to hack or modify the game to open that window, that would be a mod. It's definitely a cheat, but it's still the same old regular game. Nothing new has been added. Even the script wouldn't

No, it's executing a script from within the game itself. A mod would be something that requires you to change the files of the game itself prior to execution. This is all done with a stock copy of Minecraft.

They're not a modification, they're in Vanilla Minecraft. You don't need to download anything extra to get them.

Wow. This was actually really cool. At first I was thinking that it's impossible to do all this stuff without a mod, but then reading and see how he it did it with coding/cheats is awesome. Very very impressive!

It's a limitation with a simple workaround. All they'd have to do is provide a software solution for copying the Amiibos memory to the consoles memory/SD card and vice versa. It is Nintendo's fault for not putting such a system in place.

First up, the feature with the biggest long-term implications. There is now a "follow" button in every Steam user's profile, separate from friending them outright. Granted, a follow option already existed in Steam to an extent, but it was mainly focused on Steam Workshop (read: mods) creators, Steam Greenlight

Did you not bother reading the poster along with the article? It clearly states, "3D Headtracking, Built-in NFC/Amiibo support, C stick for enhanced controls and faster processing power than old 3DS."

are you sure that's Nintendo's fault? Because the changes have been pretty well known.

I've already had that conversation twice.

*Goes to Gamestop*
"I want to buy a 3DS"
"A 3DS or a New 3DS?"
"A new 3DS."
"A used New 3DS or a new New 3DS?"
"What?"

But seriously, Nintendo is the WORST at naming and marketing....

Sigh. PLEASE do a better job with naming from now on. PLEASE. T_T

Minecraft has guns?
