KotOR2's story is magnificent, one of the more thoughtful and deeper video games ever - up there with PS:T in terms of introspection and sort of... grandeur. Which isn't a surprise since Chris Avellone wrote both of them.

I've always vouched for Smash Bros inclusion in the Fighting game pantheon since the early days of Melee. There wasn't much agreement on its true worthiness initially but after a while, people began to understand that (with a limited ruleset), It had its place with technical play as much as Street Fighter.
Nintendo, just shoot yourself in the knee and get it over with. You have nothing to lose allowing Melee to be streamed from a live tournament. Actually you only have something to gain. Free hype. But I guess you don't need the charity.
