He couldn’t afford to have it towed to the other side of town. He didn’t have full coverage on this $2k shitbox.

If you submerge the car in salt water and sand there are no salvageable drivetrain parts.
What exactly are the parts you think will be good after this? If anything he will sell them and totally fuck someone not expecting car parts full of salt and sand.
No insurance company is marking a car worth like 3k anything but a total loss after what happened to it before the truck ran it over.
Does any of this matter? The car was a total loss, he didn’t have the money to tow it so it likely didn’t have the money to fix a car that had been submersed in salt water and buried in sand. And also he did not have comprehensive on it. Nothing in that car is salvageable outside of it’s weight in metal. It’s douche…
They will last all of a week until some “people” tear them down and steal their copper.
Miatas and Wranglers used to be much more akin to a enthusiast vehicles. Then Mazda made a lot of automatic Miatas and Jeep made the JK which is a decent day to day drive. Harleys...have been garbage for like 40 years now compared to every other motorcycle make on the market. No idea how they managed to swing the…
You can lease whatever the trim under the Hellcat for like $479 a month.
No
This is a pretty rare combination and it’s a C3 in one of the few years they actually carried some performance. If I could talk him down a little it’s a nice price for a car that isn’t too far from being in pretty nice shape.
I sort of want one for my daily. Right now I daily my Jeep. Track/weekend drive my Miata. A nice big ol’ attractive ride is what I need for my gettin’ around during the week.
The aircraft carrier or the car?
Uh, why would the discounts be heavy? Most of the people replacing their vehicles with a new one probably have a fairly new one to begin with so they have auto insurance covering most of their losses. Secondly, the auto manufacturers lost probably over 10000 vehicles in the storm on lots and probably a fuck ton more…
Or at their current efficiency, a GM 6.2L and get 25mpg highway 22 mpg combined like the Camaro SS with 455 horsepower.
20 MPG avg isn’t incredibly terrible if it performs well on the gasoline engine...
Priced comparably to trucks that are more modern in every single way.
No, their competitor options were better. People just had this bullshit notion of “muuuuuh toyota”
They aren’t wrong. Spec for spec the Tacoma hasn’t been the best truck at it’s segment/price point in a loooooong time.
Kaiser Khan is a touch of a douchebag. It is a very utilitarian vehicle. Comfortably sits 4. Easy entry and egress. Plenty of Wrangler owners pull people out of ditches in the winter. Cargo room is more than enough for most families.
Yes, it should have. There accountants shouldn’t have happened to it. The original design and asks from the designers would Trump anything close to it at the time if they were given the money.
