Now that's truly cool.

600 000$/kg of coke? Who the hell do these Japanese cops think they are fooling? The Japanese public, that's who.

Any guy who takes professional sports that seriously is a loser.

What movie is that from again?

Yes, but it wouldn't be much better. I hate to label myself, but if forced to do so I'd have to say I'm Métis (French and Mi'kmaq) (I never bothered to apply for the status, but getting it is just a matter of submitting my application since some of my relatives have it), not "part Mi'kmaq". It makes me cringe whenever

It's a bit different where I'm from, though. The French and Native Canadian communities in my part of Canada lived in harmony. The racism and self-denial came later (with the Brits).

Not to mention the racism that led native women to decide to raise their kids as white in order to better assimilate.

My university did the same thing in the ESL classrooms, but with spelling mistakes.

Sacrilege!

Mmm, someone else is already producing devices which turn water into HHO fuel.

Not hypertension, but definitely bowel problems.

Sannakji gross? That's nothing. If you want a Korean dish that will put hair on your chest, try instead Hongheo (fermented skate). A skate gets rid of urea through its skin, and so the flesh takes a strong flavour of ammonia when fermented. Not only is it very hard to swallow, eat too much and you'll end up in the

God Bless America is a troubling song. It should have been relegated to the annals of history alongside Manifest Destiny.

Look at the picture, I thought for a second that the headline was "Scientists Rewrite Orgasmic Genome for the First Time in History".

Are husbands in cultures where women keep their maiden names better? Nope.

Looks like a Labrador retriever. Those dogs love swimming. The one I had 20 years ago once dove in a river and tried to pull who was swimming out of the water. Scared the heck out of the poor guy.

Yes, location is a huge factor. Move anywhere outside of Kyonggi and apartments are quite affordable to buy, less than a deposit on a similar sized home in some parts of Seoul.

Yes, Seoul certainly isn't cheap, and it is very densely populated, but there are some nice places available at a reasonable price.

Nah, that's just cheap housing for students and young adults who just got a job in Seoul. The smallest rooms you can get in my hometown are about three times as big as that, and almost nobody rents them because the trend is towards fully furnished bachelor apartments for people who can't afford bigger.

Yup, my place has 4 bedrooms and two very large washrooms. Like I said in another comment, this is just one of those stories that perpetuates the myth that people in Asia live in shoe boxes.
