I’m assuming that is the price for the 500cc Rebel. That’s about in line with the rest of Honda’s 500cc parallel twin based bikes.

To be fair, submarines aren’t stealth because nobody talks about them. Remember how hard we looked for pieces of a crashed/missing airplane and came up with squat? I think those subs will be perfectly fine.

Slight edit: this article is a decent synopsis of the conversation, but is another overblown assessment of what Trump has said/done.

Oil on track isn’t fickle. It’ll take you out very consistently.

Came here for cockpit pictures, felt cheated.

Why do you keep getting bird shit on your pecker?

Apt perspective. It’s amazing that the VW GTI would match that 0-60 time just 10 years later. The i3 reminds me more of the quirky 2-cylinder, rear-engined 700, BMW’s first major post-war seller.

I’m just fighting for what is right and standing up for what is cool.

Actually it does exactly what it is supposed to do in a crash. Without the folding the car would transfer all of the energy into you and you would then die. If you look at it after the crash you can see minimal passenger intrusion. You want that. If the front end gets mashed up, but the passenger compartment is fine

It’s no more hideous than a brown diesel station wagon.

Brutal Depreciation and Jalopnik go hand in hand just like Brown Turbo Diesel 5 Speed Wagon

Stop stepping out in front of them ;)

Dude in the # 1 Shadow.

How come that this has not been posted:

Which is funny because the only reason it’s on the LR3 is to reference the Disco II, which requires the asymmetry to support the spare tire hanging off the back.

“the huge wheels every car designer seems genetically pre-disposed to add”

My concept self also has larger appendages than made it into production

I’m a big fan of the Land Rover LR3 (Discovery). One reason is the asymmetric tailgate. I’m glad they’ve kept it on the new Disco.

“Over $1MM invested in this build, worth $20MM+, we know what we have, no lowballers or Palestinians. Bring a trailer.”

I work in safety systems and I can tell you this is pure luck she is alive. If you want a textbook example of what a car company wants a vehicle to never do in a crash, its this. I mean logically how could you protect anyone in the back seat in a case like this? No, I suspect GM will look at this to see what they can

I mean, it was the engineers driving it, so they kinda did build it themselves.
