Why all that weight and engineering around a shaft? You have a hybrid model, just pop an electric motor on the rear axle or right in the wheels.
My 2008 Entourage was the best $25k I ever spent. So versatile for 2 kids, 2 dogs, friends, shopping, lugging, camping, placid highway cruising, and still going strong today. There really isn’t a better configuration for a family car.
