Based on what? Are you intimately familiar with Embiid’s training regimen? Have you worked with the guy? What are we talking about here? Dude was hurt - that’s objective, that’s fact.

Yo I feel like they cheaped-out on WAY too many details of this show already, and that’s based on only what the promotional images have shown me thus far. The wig they’ve got Cavill wearing looks cheap as *hell*, and his medallion is a joke. Compared to the three-dimensional, intimidating, interesting-looking…
Embiid’s “lack of conditioning come playoff time” came from his knee injury limiting his ability to practice off the court. It had nothing to do with his “hunger.”
As a Sixer fan, I’m inclined to agree that there’s no way in hell we’ve seen peak Simmons, but your comparison between he and Marcus Smart re: the three-ball is not a good one. To say that “if Smart can go from a 25% 3-point shooter to a 36% 3-point shooter, then so can Simmons” does not apply, as Simmons is not a 25%…
It sure did: He scored a goal on his first shift. “Welcome to the NHL” indeed.
After his goal, I’m pretty sure nobody on the team cared about who got sent where for him to be there.
After reading this article, I just went and read EA and Bioware’s so-called “response” to it. Based on the excellent reporting you’ve shared with us here, Jason, I’m not even remotely surprised that their “response” is as ignorant to the article as it is. You didn’t tear any individual down in any way.
Maybe the…
...what?
If a person can’t get access to the 15mbps down and 40ms latency to have Stadia run optimally, they’re already not able to enjoy most of what contemporary game consoles have to offer. No reasonable person is going to buy a new home just to be able to take advantage of Stadia, and no reasonable person would…
Except he’s not currently with the team because of a “rigged lottery drawing.” He’s currently with the team because he voluntarily signed a nine-figure contract extension.
The point isn’t whether or how much they owe Anthony Davis. It’s simply to issue a reminder that what’s complicating an otherwise very simple arrangement of intentions and goals is the Pelicans insisting upon squeezing as much value as they possibly can out of a player gifted to them by a random and unfair lottery…
“I call this one, ‘Draymond sent me,’ or ‘How I learned to pick up my dribble and then take five-to-six steps before the flush, but ain’t nobody gonna call that shit because look what I do to teammates.’” — Boogie, the day KD died.
No sweat! I apologize for maybe not giving you a slightly more truncated version of its merits and the reasons why I think it’s among the greatest games ever made, but if it whets your appetite for the game and keeps you interested in giving it a shot, I’m glad.
Enjoy NMS, and eventually, Witcher 3 =)
Don’t get me wrong, I’m really enjoying the NEXT update for NMS, but if you skip Witcher 3 for No Man’s Sky (or literally almost any other game ever made) you’re making a huge mistake, robbing yourself of what is (imo) the closest thing to a perfect game we’ll ever see.
Witcher 3's got its issues, but they’re incredibly…
So much love to you, Mike. Your attitude is a genuine inspiration, and your strength is absurd. This place wasn’t the same without you, and now that you’re back, I think I speak for everyone when I say that the next time you leave better be on your own terms, yeah?
<3
What a classy comment. ‘Bron’s operating on a level that exists in another galaxy right now. Dude’s straight up unconscious, and if you’re gonna lose to someone, you might as well try to take some joy out of potentially losing to one of the top-3 greatest players in the history of the game. I respect the hell out of…
I read the headline...
What was? (Not a sarcastic question)
Maybe I misunderstood OP, but I thought he/she was being sarcastic, saying these glitches would be normal in a first model vehicle from a manufacturer, not a third model vehicle from a manufacturer (as we’re on the Model 3 now, from that perspective this isn’t a “first model” vehicle).
...or OP could’ve been giving…
All fair points. I still don’t consider it sad, but I can understand why others might. I’m an optimist — maybe to a fault, I guess.
Leonard!
Thanks so much!
