To be fair most of those "features" were additional DRM restrictions no no one actually wanted... and the rest were killed thanks to being built around the scrapped as a result of being dependent on the scrapped DRMed Account & Network Architecture.

There's been a decent amount of marketing. I've seen site ads, plenty of posts on the official PS blog, lengthy trailers/demos at all of the major conferences... plus the 5 hour rumor has been shown to be false.

Nope, people who actually have the game have been saying it is around 10-12 hours., and the devs stated since the announcement that the game is narrative-driven. If you don't like that, just skip it.
