My experience was the opposite. Had a pre-order, then played the beta and canceled it.

Thankfully I played the beta. And it helped me make the informed decision of not to buy this game.

And I also hate how a lot of those rental editions of Blu ray don't have HD audio a lot of the times. I don't like being charged extra for a Blu ray when it doesn't have all the Blu ray features.

It's more like CoD with mechs. ...If the areas were more open and gameplay involved more tact and teamwork, like in BF4, I probably would get it. But I played the beta and it was just too much of a CoD clone and not even mechs could help it.

After playing the beta any excitement I had for the game disappeared. It's just too much like CoD and not even awesome mechs can help it. I think I would like it more if there was a single player campaign to it, or if the multi-player had more open areas and more use of teamwork and tactics like in Battlefield.

It runs off a modified version of Steams Source engine. ..so it shouldn't be too demanding.

Agreed! But I don't think you need to start with something so disturbing to show them anime can be "adult". ....I love and own, Perfect Blue by the way. Though I would probably show them, Tokyo Godfathers, instead!

I don't think, Perfect Blue, would be the best movie to show someone who is apprehensive to anime. ...It's pretty dark and twisted.
