We do actually have snakes, not many and their not big or active but we've got them. Ever stand beside an ordinary mushroom farm? Or within ten kilometres of a mushroom farm? The smell is sicking. Even when the farm is only allowed to open their vents once every 24 hours and they do it at night you'll know all about it the next day, assuming the smell doesn't wake you up.
