@Llost: In this case, it may be because MGS4 might be the sole reason some people picked up a PS3. Seeing it released in the "rival" console would not sit well with some of these so called Sony fans.

Is anyone actually excited to play as "X" rockstar in the game? I always thought the actual appeal of these games was ourselves pretending to be rockstars (note i'm not saying, "pretend to know how to play an instrument").

@3inst3in: Dude, as far as I know the license transfer is good once a year per console. So if you get a new one, you should be able to transfer all right away.
