I know these guys take a lot of influence from David Cronenberg, so at first I thought they were going for A History of Violence kind of scene (great movie, btw). However, after reading the interview, it seems potentially less complicated than that, although still doesn't seem like they are just going for shock value.

See, that's my problem with this though. The people upset with the comic have now indulged in this revisionist timeline where, all of sudden, "oh, the comic was never a problem, their response to the criticism was". Think about that. That means the criticism started before their response. It may have grown from their

I thought the same thing. I rationalized it as: "he's clearly got a key to the CtOS system on this phone, maybe the key corresponds to general/Bloom company CtOS systems, such as the cameras that run their facilities, while local systems for particular districts in the city use their own individual keys, keys that

{Comment responding to whatever minute detail of your witty comment that I didn't like.}

That's actually McCain's point. That's why he is in favor of a deeper/broader (whatever you want to call it) strategy. He thinks a limited strike would be pointless. Also, the "he wants to attack Syria irregardless" could be said of Obama too by some. Kerry was actually asked if the government would hold off on a

I see what you are saying (assuming you aren't being sarcastic, you can never tell these days).

Yeah, I guess I've just noticed the other kind more personally, or more accurately, its irked me more and thus I've noticed it more.

In all fairness, this comment could be repurposed as follows:

Man, I wish there were some dudes who could explain to any un-offended person that they should be offended and they're not seeing past their own privilege/biases/ignorance. I definitely think that always makes everything better.

If only everyone could agree

I really, really hope it becomes more ambitious.

More specifically, I want my three-dimensional battles back! Grumble, grumble.....

I like that its a "Simon during his wandering days" one. I don't think I've ever seen that version cosplayed before.

I'm actually really interested in this. However, I don't know if I can stomach playing through Dragon Age I and II. I never finished I, the combat/gameplay was terrible. It felt like I was playing a top down game, but with an interface and gameplay that wants you think its not.

All he did was provide an alternative explanation for a portion of the discrepancy (he even used the term "portion", implying his explanation does not account for all the discrepancy, just part of it). That's it.

The "no evidence" portion of my comment is referring to the assumption, which you still make here, that

I love this comment, because it is such a beautiful example of someone accusing someone else of having a skewed worldview, without any evidence, getting a ton of likes for doing so, and ensuring this website continues to be just as much about people attacking each other, as it is about the game industry. Spectacular.

I really liked Tales of Symphonia when it came out for the Gamecube. Quick question, would you guys suggest Tales of Vesperia or Tales of Xillia if I wanted to get back into Tales and was more interested in plot than complex gameplay?

I've really been waiting for Stanley Parable to come out on Steam finally. There's actually a lot of games here that look interesting. Hot Tin, Codename Cyngus, and maybe That Dragon Cancer look promising.

I honestly didn't think much of this show and kind of just rolled my eyes when I saw the e commercials but this actually has me interested. Glad that's its going for fun, but without stressing the "hey, we're self aware" bit too much.

Its amazing to me that in today's climate if Dave Chappelle tried to have stand-up like this he would have an article about him on Jezebel in about a day.

Hell, if I reiterated his comments in the forum on Polygon, I would probably get some smackdown from the editors.

I think the stockmarket allows for some interesting emergent gameplay between the crews in a city. Imagine there are three crews of five operating in a city, one crew decides to give all their money to one guy in the crew who buys a bunch of stock in particular companies. What happens though if one of the other crews

Easy mate, save it for when there actually is an overreach. Comments like this just encourage the brand of gender equality that has become so problematic.

Not saying I don't understand your frustration, trust me, I just finished reading the Saints Row IV review/Two Brothers reviews at Polygon.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes this show after all.

I'm also annoyed though that they haven't addressed Kiera's changing viewpoint very well. Her promise to Garza that Alec would change conflicts with the idea presented in the last few episodes that Kiera is still socialized into the CPS/Corporate Congress
