Whether you liked Spring Breakers or not is not relevant to my point. It is still the example you gave of an "appropriate" use of hypersexuality.

(I can't use kinja, but this is supposed to be addressed to Mr. GOH) Just wanted to say I think the quote applies here. This whole thing started when Jason called the artist in question a "14 year old boy", so there is def. a current of "you are immature" for using this art style. Heck in the same comment you decry

This. I'm only a college student, but when you have stats to run for your research methods class, an internship to commute back and forth from, and a serious need to eat, sleep, hit the treadmill and not shut out your friends/contacts, sinking hours into games is no longer a possibility.

You can't abandon that stuff

Honestly, I think Tycho of House Penny Arcade put it best: "You probably don’t have to guess how I feel about this latest round of compulsory swaying and fainting, so much like an old timey Tent Revival, complete with its hopping devil and its perpetually put upon holy warriors."
I encourage you to read the whole

Yeah, the majority of comments seem to be the opposite of disgust.

I've heard things like this before, but this logic can just be used against you though.

You can't make others feel how you do, so you don't have any more of a right to say jokes are acceptable because they make people feel better, if in fact, some people do not feel the jokes are appropriate or don't make them feel

EDIT: Nevermind

Now playing

The man rapping is the rapper that the Yeitzen CEO was referring to. You can see one of the dancers at 1:52 on the left
