What, you didn’t know Chinese people were racist? How many Chinese / black interracial couples exist in China? Doesn’t happen.

Hiking the price on existing drugs only works until it reaches a certain point where someone decides they also can profit off of it by making a generic drug.
Where do you think funding comes from to develop new drugs? Pharmaceutical companies spent billions on failed attempts. The success rate is far lower than the failure rate of developing new products.
They didn’t fly 6,000 km in the wrong direction. Nowhere is that said in the report. They took off from Sydney, started turning in the wrong direction, ATC corrected them, they try to sort out the problem, decided to land back at Sydney, got diverted to Melbourne due to weather. They flew 1 hour 54 minutes, about 450…
He needs to get together with Martin Ashton.
The title is incorrect. Had he run out of fuel at just the right time, he would have ran out of fuel right as he came to a stop.
This is what we do in California for anything less than a 6.
Some guys really know how to set up a car. JB is one of them. That’s probably why they don’t want to give him up.
There are plenty of people that came away with a good job after going to ITT. My wife went to ITT to learn CAD. The amount of education on using CAD was more than what was offered at the community colleges. They placed her into a job as a CAD drafter at an civil engineering firm after she graduated. She’s now the CAD…
They were going for the speed record. Not often you have 3 pro riders on a triple tandem.
I don’t think power meters affect racing as much as radios. Greg LeMond first used one at the Tour du Pont because it was more energy efficient to have discussions instead of going back to the team car. Now guys are almost brainless and are told exactly what to do and when to do it. The riders argue they need the…
I’ve raced since the early 90's, I will be the first to say, I turned down every offer from friends to go watch a road race. It’s fun to be in them, but boring to stand on the side of the road for hours to see them go by for 20 seconds.
Unfortunately, most of the ride was into the wind or a crosswind so you were riding at like 8 mph.
Not really. Back when I was young and stupid, I would have passed those cars even on the double yellow. There are long descents like the bottom half of Mt. Baldy road in Los Angeles where you are going 40+ mph on a pretty much straight road all the way down for about 15 minutes. A single bike will top out around 53-53…
Fastest crash I’ve been in was over 40 mph on a downhill descent in the middle of a corner. You end up sliding pretty far especially on the gravel that ended up on the road from cars dropping a wheel off the edge of the road. Had road rash on one leg and both forearms.
I’ve done 40+ on a flat with a 30 mph tail wind and riding in a paceline.
Actually crashing at 10 mph hurts a lot more than crashing at 40 mph in my experience. Slow speed crashes is more like a thud. High speed crashes into the ground, you tend to skip and roll, though you do have more road rash.
Since it doesn’t appear that he is a fighter jock, the 911 Turbo is out. Why 911 Turbo, because the engine is in the back like a fighter plane. The turbo spooling up is like lighting the burners.
At that point pretty much everyone is dead unless you were like 100 yards back, which no one ever is.
My wife went to ITT to learn CAD. She doesn’t regret doing it. ITT is a trade school and taught her what she needed to work in industry. The CC’s only give you the basic because they figure most people are going into engineering. Everyone in her class were able to get jobs. She also said they offer job placement even…
