They should also sue Daimler for making a car that can go that fast. They should get politicians to mandate speed limiters to limit the maximum speed of any car to 85 mph since that is the highest speed limit in the US. No one needs a car that can go faster than that.

The girl and her family most likely won’t have that kind of money.

COBOL is still commonly used in government offices.

That was probably the Lama when it set the altitude record. It flamed out at just over 40K and then did the longest autorotation when it couldn’t restart the engine.

I know. Which is why they have toned down the symbol because most Volvo owners are women.

But that’s average speed. Factor in takeoff and landing, he had to be going supersonic. I think they are stretching the truth.

You are forgetting that Volvo’s symbol is the symbol for iron.

Maybe you need to watch a YouTube video on how to use your watch.

The families can sue all they want, but SCOTUS ruled in Warren vs. DC that cops are under no obligation to serve. They can stand there and watch you die.

Because it is funnier to keep going and see what else gets destroyed.

Actually the parts are cheap when they are timed out. I work in the industry. Once you hit the life limit of the part, it is considered scrap metal. We’ve actually taken parts that we produce that were out of tolerance and turned into furniture for our display booths.

I never understood the price. They basically take timed out parts which is basically scrap metal, clean it up, powder coat it, make a wooden base, add a piece of glass, then charge $60K.

This kind of stuff happens more often then you think. A friend of a friend told me when he was with the 82nd Airborne on a jump, he was day dreaming as he was floating down. He forgot to release he gear prior landing. So his entire pack and radio hit the ground full force. When they met back up, they asked him where

What they didn’t do is what any pilot would have done for self preservation, pull the yoke all the way back to the stops.

This doesn’t surprise me. Even when I was in college back in the late 90's, my buddies that were involved in the Future Car competitions built a hybrid Ford Taurus that was doing 0-60 in the 6 sec range, got like 80 mpg. Wasn’t really cost effective though with the amount of money they spent.

Now playing

You can open the engine cover. You just need the special tool shown in the video.

I’m going to miss Tyler Rogoway when he leaves. The same topic on Foxtrot Alpha was much more informative of the situation and more professionally written.

There is also the disparity of force, 3 on 1, which would justify legal use of deadly force.

Now, are all the fatalities due to speed? Driver skill has gone down and people now are more distracted.

Just run some dawn dish soap in it....hehe.
