Having worked at a Police Olympics, I can tell you most civilians with CCW’s are better shots than most police. Police shooting qualifications are pretty easy, but most cops struggle to pass due to the lack of training they receive.

Actually just about every time they have been stopped by a good guy with a gun. Cops are the good guys too. There have been instances where the shooting was stopped by off duty officers who were carry concealed.
