They do like to brag 18” wing tip to wing tip. I think they do increase the gap when the weather isn’t perfect, some of the shows I’ve seen weren’t that tight.

My tuned 4th gen Subaru Legacy GT (2005) has occasionally hit the fuel cutoff in first gear, but it’s an automatic that’s not even in manual shift mode. If you get on the throttle hard it’ll forget to shift and go straight past the rev limiter and go into fuel cutoff which leaves you with no power until the rpm’s drop…

If you don’t register it, then they can’t catch you when you fly around a forest fire. Those who are stupid enough to break the law flying into a no-fly zone, aren’t going to be registering their drone.
This kind of stuff happens all of the time in California. Lane splitting is legal here, I’ve watched people completely stuck in traffic, not moving at all, purposely swerve at every motorcycle passing by.
It’s also the pilots’ fault to because they failed to see that the cowling was unlatched in the preflight exterior check.

Last time a c-17 buzzed the local soccer fields at low levels, one of the pilot’s kid was playing, half the community especially the kids loved it, the other half freaked out.
The key is it has the power to make the maneuvers at 1g. No special modifications are necessary when you can keep it at 1g.

One of the reasons not to buy it is Bell is horrible with spare parts for the legacy helicopters. If you don’t order parts months or years in advance, your aircraft will be grounded a lot.
