Jesus, that doesn’t make it any better, does it? These kids need intensive rehabilitation, not spending their formative years locked away from society and fueling the prison industrial complex. No doubt, their crime is horrendous, but it benefits absolutly no one to try two clearly unwell little girls as “adults.”

I don’t understand the legal system as well as I should so can someone please enlighten me? What is the chance that these girls end up serving time in an actual prison with offenders significantly older than they are? That seems to be the definition of cruel and unusual.

As much as I love target, and I really do, I can’t help but think this is a marketing ploy to sell more toys? This is much less about gender equality and more about the store’s bottom line. It’s pretty clear from all the parents chiming in here that the kind of people who actually don’t ascribe to gender toy norms

Right?! I guess maybe I’m holding the female cops to some sort of empathy standard, like they would 100% understand how horrifying it would be to have a stranger jam a hand up your vagina on the side of the road, so it’s mindblowing they just went on with it, like “oh, just another day on the force.”

I’ve always felt like “petri-dish baby” is a more appropriate term.

For what it's worth, your screen name is the most brilliant I’ve come upon.

Seriously. Pot didn’t kill this kid, and failure to follow directions and shit friends who weren’t taking care of him certainly didn’t pair well with young-person arrogance, but tragic happenstance takes kids like this out all the time - the only thing new is that some people are having a hard time dealing with the

It is so disgustingly obvious that the officer is aware how the dashcam video may be used from the second he pulls over Bland - and he starts crafting his narrative the second he gets out of his car. It’s no mistake that his brutality happens mostly off camera. In fact, I believe that most if the “pulling/resisting”

Why the dig on IFNPs? Don’t you know our sensitive souls require constant validation?

I can't be the only one who found myself completely enthralled in the aristry in the clips? I may have just lost an entire day to a YouTube spiral into the art of contouring. Totally fascinating.

I dunno - watching Clueless 20 years later I can see that there is some brilliant satire and social commentary going on in that move - and it’s just sweeter that it’s totally lost on Alicia Silverstone (and my 7th grade self btw)
