The ironic part is the protest narrative is 100% fabricated. They do this because it is fun, not because riding your way into a wheelchair somehow shows up the “man.”

In DC, too. I’ve been driving when it happens, and it’s terrifying—not because of the people, but because of how they’re riding.

While everyone, including the bikers themselves, acknowledges that the sport can be dangerous, riders use hand signals and even ride in grassy areas to avoid intermingling with car traffic.

We have the dirt bikers here in Harlem, too. They ride all over the neighborhood, and the stunts they do are very impressive. But they are very dangerous, and very loud. They always say that they ride in the streets because they have nowhere else to ride. I’d love to have a dirt bike park for them, but I seriously

This has been going for years in Baltimore and Philly. Connecting it to Freddie Gray is stupid both for the subjects of the article and the author. Also, it is far from a benign activity. They most certainly do not use hand signals (at least in my experience). It’s usually a 14 year old helmetless kid doing a 50 mph

When asked to comment, Miami Dolphins tight end Jordan Cameron said “Nah, you guys have got it all backwards.”

For whom are the court battles “embarrassing”? I am not embarrassed. Are you? It damn well isn’t the NFL, because - while “corporations are people, my friend” - I am pretty sure they can’t, you know, feel. And, even if they could, I am like, positive that the NFL would be the kind of person that doesn’t feel shame.

Ah, the Native Elitists. The only Coloradans that are more hated than the transplants.

According to Daly’s manager, the collapsed lung was caused by a rib injury that Daly has been dealing with since 2007, one that has been affecting the golfer’s breathing.

A Jay Gruden fat joke? Now that’s an offensive line that RGIII can really get behind.

Thank you! I don’t know why I get attacked so strongly for this stance. They are no different than any lobbying group that these same people angry at me hate so much. It’s, well it’s bizarre.

hey fuck you man

This. Right here. Getting to the root cause will save us a great deal of tragedy. We shouldn’t stigmatize mental health, we should increase treatment for those in need and maintain the policies in place to make it at least inconvenient to acquire a firearm.

Weird, I own guns and have never had the inspiration to kill anything, people or animals. They aren’t for protection. They are for shooting clay discs as quickly as possible. OR shooting targets from close or long ranges (depending on which of my guns we are talking about).

this sounds like you’ve never been around, fired, or understood guns. maybe take some time to learn both sides of the story before you make brash statements.

for instance, i’ve spent time in gun-less cultures (Denmark, France) and I live in a gun proliferated culture, I carry one every single day, rain or shine.

once

I feel sorry for people so locked into preconceived notions that they can’t imagine normal, calm, rational, non-paranoid people carrying a gun.

My gun loving ex-roommate just finally gave up his NRA membership. Still loves his guns, but realized they didn’t really care about him.

As a shooter and a liberal absolutely hate the NRA

So you want people to have puckle guns and cannon? Not to mention warships since civilians with enough money could actually buy them and use them for privateering.

By that logic, freedom of the press should only apply to people who publish old timey broadsheets on physical paper. This is the type of discussion that doesn’t help the issue - just straight up say you want to ban all guns and leave it at that. It’s more intellectually honest.
