Yeah the Air New Zealand international flights are some of the best in regards of the economy entertainment. I haven’t flown with many other airlines lately, but being able to order drinks & food from the touch screens instead of pressing a call button is great too. Still, the ideal way to improve from this is just to

Even more impressive with that you drive it there & back. Are there many modifications to the suspension/brakes/chassis?

“I’d be delighted to get to drive some of its cars in virtual reality”. Wait Forza 7 is going to have VR support? I was conflicted about buying it since the series is finally on PC but since playing Project Cars & Dirt Rally in VR I’m not really interested in a non VR racing title.

I’m not from or living in the United States, but from what I’ve seen/heard patriotism is drummed into it’s citizens at an almost disturbing level. Taking pride because of being born in a certain place is foolhardy, firing someone because they don’t stand during the singing of a national anthem, which is weird in

The first Arkham game had a great Batman, well minus the nonsense where he solved everything by holding down the space bar.

I like to see games run well too. Unfortunately at the moment the frame rate for Doom isn’t consistent at 30 from the wording of the article, hopefully that improves by the time it’s released.

Maybe I want to play Doom at 30 FPS on my Switch, unfortunately it doesn’t run it at a consistent 30 FPS at the moment according to the article. Hopefully that changes & it’s more stable. Again I’m not against the Switch or Nintendo or Doom running on it, the point is if it’s not running at a consistent frame rate

I’m all for the switch running any game, I’d prefer people to play on whatever platform they want.

“Doom Seems To Run Well On The Switch” doesn’t seem to fit with “mostly at a smooth 30 frames per second” at 720p.

Hope your day is going well too :)

Considering the majority of the replies have been the excuse that the switch is portable or that people don’t mind that it runs at a level that would be unacceptable on other systems seems to validate the original point. Your off point tangent sounds like another excuse as to why Nintendo shouldn’t have to insist on

Considering the context of the post is running at less than 30 fps at lower than standard resolutions would be unacceptable on anything but a Nintendo product I don’t disagree.

This just makes me sad that the once phenomenal youtube channel of Harris is now barren due to his placement on Top Gear. While I’m sure he’s a lot better off financially, the content he was producing was great before being restricted by the overproduced boring Top Gear formula.

I’m not sure what you consider ‘Bleeding edge graphics’, but ‘fucking portable’ is a poor excuse for ‘mostly 30 FPS’ at 720p.

Well thankfully 60 fps at 1080p is pretty much a given on PC these days as a minimal requirement & it seems most developers along with Microsoft & Sony are striving for 4K at 60 fps. It seems like Nintendo doesn’t even need to bother with so many people making so many excuses for them.

An inability to run constantly at 30 fps at 1280 x 720 would result in widespread condemnation on any other system than a Nintendo one. Really we should be at the point where 60 fps at 1920 x 1080 is the bare minimum.

I’d rather see a Dr Doom movie that has nothing to do with the Fantastic Four.

I just downloaded the demo, but coming from Project Cars & Dirt Rally in VR it’s awfully limiting having a fixed view point & not being able to judge distances and elevation well.
I’ve been wanting to play the Forza series for years, but not to the point of buying a console but I’m not sure I’m too keen in getting into

“Ewoks or Gungans”.
Oh sure, set him up to fail why don’t you.

Pretty much every comment that followed has said what needed to be said about your comment, except that enjoying what you’re doing is hardly wasting time.

“ I’d rather wrench, no matter how mundane the job, than play games.”
You’ve obviously never worked as a mechanic in between semesters at university then.

I set this up to download during the day while I’m out as the Microsoft store is so slow to download from. Looking forward to trying out Forza on PC but I’m thinking Project Cars 2 might be the better purchase, especially with VR support.
