Not at all. But the rules are in place for a reason. As a minor point, I'd also add that football players are significantly bigger and stronger than they were 50 years ago.

Slavery was also allowed for thousands of years, but there are things called "laws" preventing that sort of stuff these days.
First of all, it's cute when you declare an "argument" over. More importantly, however, you should read the goddamn rule before acting like the authority on NFL rules.
His head is up? Take another look at the 10 available replays. That's not a form tackle, and if you think that is, I'm not sure where you learned to play.
Do you think he was trying to make a tackle there? He even turned his head while throwing his body at a defenseless wide receiver's upper body. The guy wasn't trying to make a form tackle—he was going for a big hit. If that's allowable, don't be surprised when a wide receiver dies on the field.
You're right about concussions, but I think you misunderstand the rules about targeting.
You haven't seen Forrest Gump or SPR? Those are easily two of my top 10 of all time. For shame, Samer.
Not to undermine Southampton's great start, but their wins have come against weak competition: Newcastle, Swansea, QPR, Sunderland, Stoke, Hull and Leicester.
It was probably a bit hyperbolic, but I meant that they've covered Baby M's skills before:
I assure you the entire Deadspin staff is very aware of Baby Mangino.
They're traditionally worn throughout the whole month of November.
I assure you that Kevin Durant's garage is far more luxurious than the space Robert Swift is currently occupying.
It's clear that you're missing quite a few things.
Great song. Zero 7 got me through a lot of all-nighters in college. Here's an underrated jam from them:
The Redskins did a good job of showing blitz, and dropping into coverage in the 2nd half. They showed 8-9 guys on every big third down in the first half, Romo made no changes, and got pummeled when they were short two guys in the box and he had no underneath options. Peyton scoffs at those mistakes.
Whoosh.
I think you're missing the point here. The Redskins showed that same blitz package 4 times during the first half on third down plays, and each of them resulted in Romo keeping the play and getting sacked. That's terrible play at the line by Romo. I'm not questioning his holding onto the ball—that was the right move to…
It makes more sense than you think. #FAGCOCKDOOSHLERBUTTHOLECUMSTAIN
I'm sorry that you're a Cowboys fan, and, inevitably, a fantasy football owner of Tony Romo. He was absolutely awful today, and anyone with eyes knows that the Cowboys didn't have the numbers to protect him every time the Redskins blitzed in the first half. The difference between Romo and Rivers is that Rivers—with a…
In an effort to put his foot down, Jimbo Fisher has reportedly said that Williams will sit out the first 2 punt returns of the game.
