Hell of a score! My 2-door Golf GL (1990) was $980.

Hell of a deal for a car that paid you back!
.
Wow. Those are really awesome!
But it has box flares!
Good-looking car, nice save.
Thank you. What a shit video.
Hands-down one of the finest truck designs of all time. I agree whole-heartedly; Do Want.
Fantastic captioning.
Smells like Dynacorn to me. Dumb details, but cool to see that body on a newer frame.
Wow, those are getting very rare now! Great snag for a grand.
Thanks - I really appreciate your response. You make a good point about this making things expensive. For me, I see cars like mine (Mk2 VWs) being crushed all the time, so I'm scared that people aren't going to preserve them.
Wow, they did a really beautiful job on this - I agree, it looks much better than the standard 458!
Holy hell! Adopt me!
Wow! You have some seriously valuable rides! Mk1 coupe?! Awesome stuff. I drive a Mk2 2-door Golf GL. Just curious - where are you located?
Ah, you could be right! I certainly didn't read it that way.
Nah, someone just messed with the color temperature of the photo (I'm kidding).
Surprisingly, people get flamed pretty often for posting about roof racks on VW Vortex. It's getting less trendy.
For the record, the Jetta was most certainly not a successor to the Cabrio. The models both still exist (hence one not replacing/succeeding another) and they were both introduced for the Mk1/A1 platform, the Jetta in 1979 and the Cabrio in 1980, both variants on the Golf that had come out in 1974.
I'd still be picking it.
