Whoa. You have a Notchback and a Bus bar. Whoa.

Without a doubt.

It blows your mind when you drive one, let me tell you. These videos don't communicate even a fraction of the sensation.

Definitely a good addition. Who expected this?!

That's a Mk2, but I agree.

Beautiful photo of a beautiful car. Timeless.

Beautiful 20th. As a Mk2 owner with a Mk4 and a Mk5 in the family, I can attest to what a night-and-day difference there is between Mk4 and anything before it. The Mk4 GTI is an absolute masterpiece in my eyes.

Mmmmm . . .

Hell yeah.

I went to the McLaren/Fisker dealer recently and sat in front of the F1 in the showroom for what must have been 20 or 30 minutes, just taking it in. It still inspires wonder in me.

See?

My other guesses didn't fare as well. Could've sworn 6 was a Nash. At least I could tell 9 was a Mustang!

Looks a hell of a lot more like a Corvair than a Falcon to me, but maybe I'm blind.

Good advice - I could smell my brakes on the way down Page Mill on Tuesday!

That's why you go during the week, of course! Page Mill can have a fair number of bikers but I don't know that I've ever seen one between Skyline and Pescadero. Either way, we make it all work out, there's still plenty of fun to be had even if you're being careful!

There are plenty of little paths through these hills, not to worry!

Page Mill (cross Skyline) —> Alpine —> Pescadero —> 1

Hell yeah, King's Mountain is a pretty techy drive - I haven't been down Tunitas though, I'll have to do that. I'm looking through the comments for Page Mill / backside of Alpine. What do you drive (maybe I'll spot you up there)?

I don't know all that much about SPC or this method, but 3.4 PPM is a defect rate of .034%, leading to .23/.034=6.765 (less than an order of magnitude). Not that I know what that means either - but you're right, this production run is way out of the six-sigma spec.

With a run of 170,000 Pintos (according to Wikipedia), I would expect such errors to be fixed. These numbers aren't so bad when you consider that only 2,200 vehicles are out there. Maybe the figure will increase, I'm just citing today's numbers.
