My parents drive this car. Incredible ride. I love that engine so much, we've had a couple of 1.8Ts in the family too. It feels very light and very fast.

2009 Jetta Sportwagen SEL:

Super cool. Glad to see Rusty back on the lift. I wish Mike the best!

I can only imagine what it's like to be Jim Glickenhaus. Awesome comments on his part.

I'm not one to complain about engine choices but to call them different models just doesn't seem necessary.

I'd daily-drive one if I could.

I do not approve.

What an awesome-looking vehicle! Mini, take note of their success and duly replicate!

Thank god the buyers are backing me up on this whole GT/slant-back crap. I find it ridiculously ugly and unnecessary - look at how stately the sedans were! Who had a problem with that?

This, finished and painted, and perhaps with a different bed, could be really really cool. You guys should try to track down the buyer and keep us updated with his/her progress (you never know).

Our family had a 505 wagon and a 505 Turbo sedan, both gas, both manual. Great cars, I miss them sorely.

Wow. That was superb in every way. Really great cars, cool rat rods, beautiful stuff, cool music, and excellent camera work. Even the music was well-picked.

RIP.

Full agreement. I am not amazed by that.

That's just too high. It's a cool car, well-outfitted, but that's a lot of cash. Unfortunate CP.

Very cool. This is intriguing for sure, and probably the best way for sports cars to escape the constant fire of environmentalists.

Exactly what I thought.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it actually looks good. That side blade is by no means the highlight of the R8's design, but I think this looks cool. The TT, while still a little on the girly side of the spectrum, is a nicely-designed car. The proportions are sweet. I'd drive it.

Exactly what I thought - this was already up.
