Concepts are made, in part, to gauge reaction of the public - every component of the design was carefully decided for a reason. That's why people react to wheel choices. Why does that annoy you?
The funny part is that I'm pretty sure my Mk2 has lower sills than yours. Still, I absolutely love the Mk4, and I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything - just a comment on changing designs.
Finally I find someone who has already posted this! Definitely timeless, and I like the earlier ones with round lights too (maybe more).
Ruf and Porsche, to me, have never seemed to be direct rivals. I think it's a different customer base and product intent.
