Either you don’t play fighting games at a high enough level where momentum matters, or you simply never felt it. Momentum is VERY REAL. Almost any pro in the FGC will attest to that, and the few that won’t are either immune to momentum changes that come from external sources, or isn’t being very honest.

This. I don’t think it was intentional, but once you sit down, you should damned well sit and stay focused on the game until its over, all sets included. There should be a DQ or a lost game penalty for interrupting met-match flow. Especially during Grand Finals!
