Yes, VATS (not VAST) was something that seemed really amazing if it had been implemented a little better. The percentage to hit chance dropped off way too fast when holding something like a sniper rifle, rendering them useless for vats unless you’re within 20 feet of the enemy. It was cool that you could make a build

My biggest request is cleaning up the gunplay. In FO3 and to a lesser extent New Vegas, the guns had random variable firing times between pulls of the trigger, leasing to weird time lapses between shots. This is most noticable with a 10MM pistol and trying to rapid fire it.

anyone else noticed these lines of code?

Yet again, Jason is bringing us the truth and only the truth, unlike the many other false prophets that have come and gone. Thank you Jason, for leading us into the next coming of the radioactive apocalypse!

The industry and how it runs is fundamentally broken and unsustainable. Changes have to be made or we might wind up seeing the death of triple A games from major publishers.

I have heard horror story rumors that its just an updated Skyrim engine...

There will not be mods for a new game engine. There never will be.

Lies. You can’t be ready for this. Buckle in and hold on to your butts kiddies!

Assbutt?

Oh, I know they can use Infection forms to resurrect from H2 onward, but the ability to rise up again with no floodlings so randomly...

A week? One cannot explore ES or FO worlds in a mere week. Why im still exploring Skyrim thousands of hours later!

Yes, this is exactly what I meant.

I feel your pain! But think of it like this: They work out the kinks and bugs of making a game for the next gen with fallout 4, hopefully making the next ES game that much more perfect!

Yeah, you can see how melee got uber buffed against them in Halo 3. I felt they were at their best and most Scary in Halo 2 personally. If they’d had the ability to randomly get up after playing dead like in Halo CE, they’d be terrifying.

Jason, is is sad that I look forward more to E3 than any actual holiday?

*Sneaks away, gasoline tank and lighter in hand*

Actually there was a fallout MMO that was being developed quite a few years back, but the studio working on it was badly behind schedule so Bethesda pulled the plug, resulting in a long nasty legal battle. So if the studio making it hadn’t screwed up, we would have had a Fallout MMO by now.

Well to be fair, Skyrim came out most recently. It wouldnt make sense to do Two ES games in a row while everyone is screaming for Fallout 4. And by releasing FO4 now, everyone will be screaming for the next ES game soon.

Consequences? Is burning everything a consequence? It sounds like a treat to me. I’ve got my super soaker loaded with gasoline with a lighter taped to the nozzle. Just in case a certain Publisher fucks up and forgets to talk about a certain game that has a certain number 4 in it.

The Flood is my favorite enemy in Halo just because of this reason. It switches up how the player fights and approaches a situation completely. Often times there is no ability to pre-plan when fighting the flood so it requires quick thinking, keeping cool, and steady aim on the Legendary Difficulty.
