If Shazier wants to try and play football again, that’s fine. I completely disagree with him but that’s his prerogative. My biggest issue is that the NFL is trying to play this off as a big heart warming story while carefully avoiding the fact that it’s football’s fault in the first place.

Doris Burke is the best national color-commentator in basketball and it should be a fire-able offense to keep her relegated to sideline duties.

Sterile is a good word for it. I didn’t play the original, so I can’t really compare it to that. If this is an improvement in that way from the original, I would REALLY hate that one it seems.

I got Destiny 2 as part of the Humble Monthly (I forgot to pause) and it’s...so grey. Not just levels that I’ve played so far but everything about it. The gameplay is fine I guess but it kinda feels like if they took out all the personality that Borderlands had and added a super serious tone to it.

Thorne is great. I actually like Rod Allen on Tigers broadcasts. Besides Tom Hamilton (I’m an Indians fan), Jon Miller is my favorite radio guy. I miss him on Sunday Night games (Joe Morgan not so much).

Or just use the local announcers like they do for a lot of the other games. I’ve learned to like some of the local crews more than I did in years past (does not apply to Red Sox broadcasts).

The ejection was stupid. He wasn’t going over the top or anything, it was clearly done to preemptively try and stop an altercation. Problem is, Thompson getting ejected was probably the reason the scuffle happened in the first place. That said, “unwritten rules” of any kind are stupid and Thompson is an idiot for both…
