I’m not into Twitch streaming, but we’re probably not getting another season of The Eric Andre Show until 2023 at the earliest and this shit has the same manic, unpredictable energy. 200% agreed with the curated experiences. Mostly because Bungie will always complain about balance issues with PvP and always knock on other game modes because of it. If they go with this route, then they wouldn’t have to worry too much about over balancing or nerfing things. 

One problem with your idea (besides the dev work required) is that MANY of the emotes are clearly designed around being used in a PVP context. I think a better fix would be that you get locked into doing the animations (in PVP only) if you choose to use them. So sure, peek around a corner if you want, you’ll be…

This requires Bungie to actively invest in their PvP modes, which we don’t see any of anymore. No new maps at all for PvP, we lost a bunch of them. We even lost 2 gambit maps. I imagine there is no PvP team anymore, and if there was, we would see some degree if updates for PvP

The sad thing is that the PvE portion of the game is in a pretty great spot right now. The new season has a lot of cool new guns and perks, the new secret mission that dropped on Tuesday was phenomenal, lots of quality of life improvements have made the game more enjoyable overall, etc...

I never understood why people were claiming FFXIV would end after the current storyline was finished. The developers can just keep making stuff up as they go. Hell FFXI has been around for 19 years and still gets updates, as recently as 2020.
