Ah, yeah, I’m somewhat regretting stepping away for so long! Some of the areas I missed out on seem really freaking cool. Quick, dashed-off thoughts from a lapsed player:

You’ve been able to reacquire shaders for two years, since Forsaken introduced Collections. Have you really not played in two years? That’s not snark, I’m genuinely curious! You’ve missed SO MUCH, almost all of which has now been vaulted...curious to hear what a very lapsed player thinks of...everything.

Oddly enough, Aberrant Mind sounds like a Vex boss, and Clockwork Soul sounds like a Destiny weapon.  

I played it. I suppose for a mobile game it’s better than most, but the gotcha mechanics are REALLY bad and REALLY overpriced, as well the grind is insane at high levels.

Three words. Underground Fan Server. You really think Zynga has the power to stop me?

The usual response to this is “But I haven’t spent anything, so it’s good!” I think people tend to forget or just don’t care that most of the money made is from a minority of whales who can’t control their spending. The free game in this case is being subsidized by people with an addiction.

And I’m sure the amount of money this game has made those platforms through the predatory microtransactions has NOTHING to do with those awards.

I’m sorry but those monsters are not exactly asking for consent if you’ve ever seen a release from Studio FOW. So I think we’re better off if Arch doesn’t go down a woman, because if the smut he watches is anything to go by, it would be a crime...

I don’t think that enjoying monsters with oversized cocks going down on your favorite Dead or Alive character makes you a degenerate, nor do I think it has *anything* to do with the moral high-ground here.

It’s a pretty clean break from all the previous Destiny 2 expansions so, you might not feel the sting of loss that others have with sunsetting and vaulting if you haven’t played since original Destiny 2. This is probably as close to Destiny 3 as we’re going to get in some time.

The devs made it very clear many times that there was no sixth arch stone. People hoping for this were kidding themselves.
