I feel like when this article sets up the transition from the PS3 to PS4, it neglects to mention the single biggest thing that helped Sony out of the gate: just how much Microsoft shit the bed with the reveal and launch of the Xbox One.

I agree. How dare a below average looking girl get attention! Only women who meet or exceed your personal beauty standards should allowed to be successful.
Yes it is you.
$7 for a 4 oz bag of cookies is insane. Sure inflation is making things cost more but that means a family size bag of Oreos(which has four times as much product by weight as these cookies) is going to cost $5 instead of $4.
Because yall still clicked on the article and decided to comment anyways
Fuck, really?
For someone like that, “broke boy” means “person who won’t pay the simp surcharge for a product” rather than the dictionary definition.
You can say shit here, just sayin.
I’m not even offended by the “broke boy” comment. Social media has seen much worse. I’m more offended that the cookies are branded as a “healthy snack alternative.” Maybe they’re fantastic cookies, but the reach to dub everything “healthy” because they have some marginal nutritional value is part of the reason the…
Xitter.
I work for a tech company in the Bay Area but I guess I must still be a “broke boy” because I think $28 for 16 ounces of cookies is absolutely bullshit and a total scam.
Streamers with “foods”, fuck off.
X is sorry......for being caught, or called out, for their shitty behavior - otherwise they’d be quietly counting money instead of loudly counting money.
totally agree ! the nemesis system should be available for all developers. it’s such a fascinating way to give unimportant npcs character and intrigue, something that could make beating up goons in spider-man 2 more interesting
Honestly, I don’t think the controllers needing batteries was a huge issue at all. The fact that the base 360 was so barebones was more of a problem (i.e. no HDD at launch, and that thing was very very important).
They compete with every console, it’s just after the Wii the other guys decided to pretend they didn’t.
Where “console wars” are concerned, I often see people talk about the switch as if it’s some sort of supplement to an Xbox or a Playstation. Something to be purchased in addition to, not instead of, one of the other consoles.
I hate that the nemesis system is patented. Imagine how much better it could be if other game developers were allowed to innovate off of it instead of fearing a bunch of lawsuits.
“Now, Sony is the first-party king of gaming.”
