Exactamundo, Fonz.

Huh? Are you under some misguided notion that every woman in the film industry is a millionaire? The women most likely to be abused are women in low status positions like day players and PAs, who make pretty shitty money.

Everyone I know in the industry has 2 or even 3 other jobs because 99.9% aren’t rich and famous

Seriously? In the 90s worked as an assistant at a major talent agency and was sexually harassed more days than not. For that privilege I made $375/wk-before taxes. For every actress pulling in a few million per film are hundreds of support people who make little. Pro bono legal aid is for them.

Not every woman in film is a famous actor. In fact, the vast majority of them are not.

Don’t forget that a lot of people who work on a film are behind the scenes and don’t have the resources and can benefit from this.

As a gender studies major, I shall accept the gauntlet!

She’ll probably be the only one saying sorry about working with Woody Allen. The rest (I’m looking at you Kate Winslet) will still work with him and then deny answering questions about their choice to work with him. Hum. So fucking disappointing.

I was reading this story an hour or so ago, in the waiting room for my therapist, who specializes in gender, sexuality, and their intersection with personality disorders. I showed this to her and she just got a confused look on her face and goes, “yeah, that’s a stumper.”

I know what you mean. This is very triggering for me too but when I found out he was found guilty, I literally screamed in joy. One rape victims justice is all our justice. We are together in this. Peace and love.

I’m not sure that’s the correct exclamation of distaste I’d advocate. May I humbly suggest “Castrate child rapists, Castrate Rapists. Every single one”?

Whatever your journey is, I wish you continued peace and healing. You deserve your peace, and fuck anyone if they try to take any part of that away from you.

I don’t think its uncommon for family members to stand by each other. Nicki didn’t commit the crime or did she testify for her brother. We should leave her alone.

I’ve kind of avoided this story for triggering personal reasons, so this is the first time I’ve read it. I’m crying for what that girl and her family have been put through. I hope they find peace and healing.

This poor little girl. I am so sad for her and the brother for having to witness such fucking disgusting abuse.

Here’s the simple fact: It’s The New York Times

I’m not sure why you’re bringing up the Washington Post? The New York Times broke the story earlier this morning — two different cities, two completley different media outlets.

If you follow celeb gossip it’s pretty clear the Mariah accusations are being fabricated by her sleazy old embezzling manager

Oh, Weezer. Yeah, if Brian Bell played that solo for me, my pants would be off so fast.
