Ugh. Those poor kids. I’m glad the daughter had the guts to report her mother to the authorities. You tube should not allow people to make money off their kids unless it can assure proper oversight, just like any other child labor. (Fat chance, I know, but worth mentioning)

Your friend did give you good advice financial aid though-I have said the same to friends with kids. I work in a state university and the tuition is relatively low, but so is the available aid. In many private schools (the ones that have large endowments, anyway), tuition is much higher, but so is available aid…
