As both a victim of abuse and a reporter, I feel he did absolutely the right thing. Intervening would have caused a scene that Nigella would no doubt have had to pay for in private later. Those photos were likely an embarrassing wake up call for her, and perhaps one of the only catalysts that could have driven her to

Well, I'm glad he took those photographs. It shattered a whole lot of misconceptions about domestic abuse, started a national discussion about the subject (in the UK, at least), and arguably provided the final straw for Nigella to get out of that awful relationship.

As a survivor of domestic violence, I am going to voice what may seem really weird to you. I'm glad he kept snapping the pictures.

Crossdressing men aren't women. These are bras for dudes.

The tag line for this is “a wedding event for the cool at heart." It must be exhausting and expensive to be this cool all the time. I have a feeling this whole thing will look like Pinterest with some burlesque dancers and (maybe) minus cowboy boots?

I actually do relate to Girls quite a bit, and this is coming from, shocker: a black woman. I'm 27 and I know many people living lives just like this. It might be a Brooklyn thing though. I relate to the themes about dating, work (especially the aversion to traditional 9-5 occupations and the prevelance of

I'm 20 living in Montreal (and WOC just to point out) and a lot of what happens on girls absolutely relates to me and the way I see myself and my friends. I'm younger than the characters and still in university, but the wallowing and shittiness that Lena Dunham's characters seems to be constantly experiencing is

God. Stop with the click bait titles. She's not going to jail for shopping, she's going to jail because she violated the conditions of her house arrest. Dont leave your house seems pretty easy to understand.

I must have no sense of humor, because I don't think they're funny. Not that I think the originals are good, either. They could have just not had engagement photos taken, or hunted down better photographers. I know tons that I could refer.

I mean no offense to the photographer (I didn't actually click on the link, just saw what was put here.) but if you're going to do a spoof, it may be better to take pictures in a more...oh dear...professional way? They look like snapshots compared to the "inspirations." Great idea though!

I'm with you. I watched videos by Sasheer Zamata. She's funnier than the vast majority of SNl cast members and just happens to be drop dead stunning to boot. Calling her token is just fucking outrageous.
And as a white woman who may not be the most informed to speak on these matters, to me it just screams of irony

My husband uses ecigs and the vapor really, really makes my eyes burn. It pisses me off when it uses it around me or IN THE CAR because it seriously bothers me more than cigarette smoke. The weird smell also grosses me out to no end.

And when e-cig assholes go "This is VAPOR not SMOKE" I just want to punch them in the face.

Because those are the only 4 covers that exist in Elle magazine

Jezebel Logic: Pumps this woman up to be breaking down barriers in the film industry. Forgets that she is the epitome of white privilege.......even after making an article about it.

And every time they do a remake of Gatsby, a ton of people wish they were Gatsby and Daisy.

I dunno how old you are or how many movies you've seen but I thought one aspect of the film was pretty original and deep. Before reading this article, my feelings about the movie were somewhat confused because I knew that the protagonist was an asshole but I was uncomfortable about how much I related to the guy. This

You're asking the wrong question, though. Roger Ebert once said, "It's not what a film is about, it's how it is about it." Jordan Belfort already had a movie made about his firm that was what you described- usual, boring, and safe moviemaking. Scorsese made about about excess in a way that, I assure you, will be

I am a very large fan of Scorsese, and I believe what is new about the film is that it is not a banking film but a gangster film. It makes it not new in terms of the fact that Scorsese's career has been based largely on the gangster genre. However, the fact that the banker is shown as a criminal is new. Scorsese

Good for them! It's nice to learn new things.
