This is probably going to sound dumb to all the regular comic readers, but can you rent/check out old comics? I've never read comics but the great superhero movies in recent years have made me want to start! However, the comic book ocean is crazy deep and I have no idea where/how to start. I'd really appreciate some

I would, but I have to deal with diapers.

They can replace this show with Single Female Lawyer!

I suspect I may be a-trolling by accident. But It's an honest opinion.

Wore one of his wedding gowns when I married in 2010. RIP.

RIP Oscar :(

I had a $100 Amazon gift card so I bought the nice one. I have to get up at 5am so its really hard to get up when its pitch black outside. I end up snoozing for a bit then I'm in a rush to get ready. Hopefully this will help.

I had to teach one of my guy friends how to do laundry in college. When he took the clothes out of the washer he said, "But they're WET". That's what dryers are for, sweetheart. To dry your clothes.

But we have the INTERNET! There is so much stuff I didn't know how to do and then I learned. I commented upthread that I don't remember learning how to sew a button...I was just like, "Well, there are all these little holes, and I can see how other buttons are attached, so..."

My wife just served me "divorce duck." I don't know what was in it but she said it was best served cold.

I made Engagement Chicken, and I'm married!

How refreshing! I'd love to hear a postwar instrumental over misogynistic chart toppers for a change. I thought my view as a woman was welcome here, but I can quickly see that anything but ass-kissing and preemptive privilege acknowledgement and apologizing is promptly run out of town.

Sure, some rap is art, but, in my opinion (whether racist, classist, GMO-free, or Michelin-starred with a side of Vietnamese cinnamon, I'm still allowed to express it here), "Turn down for what" is a sad choice when millions of impressionable minds could otherwise learn about a jazz classic or blues piece.

My son saw the vine, and said it was cool, but I'm not sure he knows what a turnip is. :/

THANK YOU! It took me 48 hours of rifling through my memory of odd accents to come up with this too. i have friends from baltimore and my parents went to school there- apparently this a real thing

The accent's okay, it definitely seems to come and go. Some words she really has down.

THANK YOU. I knew it sounded familiar, that was gonna drive me crazy. (I know zero people from Baltimore, so yeah).

Her accent reminded me of John Travolta's in Hairspray so I immediately thought Baltimore. However, I've never heard a strong/authentic Baltimore accent so I have no idea if she's doing it well.

The bearded lady Ethel Darling, played by Kathy Bates, and her accent. Where is this affectation supposed to have originated? Help me understand.

"...and a skill for double fisting."
