Damnit, Carl, what happened to your sheriff hat??!

I'm with you on everything except Trumpets. Play that song and tell me it doesn't make you want to dance immediately (or at least, by the time the trumpets start). I DARE YOU. It's almost physically impossible for me to hear it without bopping around at least a little bit.

When "Timber" comes on the radio, I immediately put on my imaginary ear condoms because that song is basically an aural STD.

Raccoon fur really is luscious! I have The Best Ever winter parka that has raccoon fur trim on the hood — it's super warm and incredibly soft. I found it in a secondhand store in Germany, but after wearing it a bit and realizing how awesome it was, I would totally pay full-price for something made of raccoon fur in

I volunteer to hand-stitch it back together if he lets me rip it the rest of the way off of him.

How I feel about Charlie Hunnam and his long hair in gif form:

I can't believe you missed Eastern Promises! Viggo Mortensen kills an assassin while entirely naked in a sauna! IT'S PRETTY INTENSE.

I said the exact same thing about 1/2 way through this episode. I don't hate this storyline, but I don't really care about it much, either.

I only saw that scene for a second but the wrapped body seemed too small to be Carol. It looked kind of child/teen sized, which makes me scared for Beth. (Yes, I know the actress who plays Beth is not really a child or a teen, but she is very petite.)

I thought the mullet actually looked kind of ok when it was neatly brushed back! The absence of a jerry curl-ish perm made a world of difference.

On the one hand, Abraham's anger with Eugene was justifiable and I totally get it. On the other hand, I think that he had to know deep down that Eugene was full of shit. Like you said, a few targeted follow-up questions would have made it pretty clear that he didn't really have a cure, but Abraham chose not to ask

This is probably going to sound dumb to all the regular comic readers, but can you rent/check out old comics? I've never read comics but the great superhero movies in recent years have made me want to start! However, the comic book ocean is crazy deep and I have no idea where/how to start. I'd really appreciate some

I think that's kinda pretty actually! It sounds like a mournful violin song.

Her accent reminded me of John Travolta's in Hairspray so I immediately thought Baltimore. However, I've never heard a strong/authentic Baltimore accent so I have no idea if she's doing it well.

I deeply covet almost everything Keira Knightley wore in Anna Karenina, but especially that sumptuous embroidered velvet, fur trimmed coat she wears in the train station.

I once met a native German man who was an English teacher and was married to a British woman from Dorset. He'd learned RP English (as do most Europeans, I gather), but after living with his Dorset-born wife for many years, he had acquired a Dorset accent when he spoke English. His accent was a super odd/unusual German

Your comments about age in love stories were interesting and reminded me of Entrapment with Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Not in a "You're wrong! What about ___?!" kind of way, but because it's the only story I can think of where the male romantic lead is legitimately old compared to a younger female lead (I

Troy would be so happy with this post!

Is that even real??! It's so perfectly perfect and defined it MUST be fake!
